Comments: Animals were immunized with glycoprotein fraction from the Bristol 8 human B lymphoblastoid cell line.

Spleen cells were fused with NS-1 myeloma cells.

This line is a switch variant of Genox 3.53 (ATCC HB-103).

An IgG2b switch variant of Genox 3.53 also exists (G2b.2, ATCC HB-109).
